Description:Located at Confederation Square. Opened June 2, 1969. Multidisciplinary performing arts centre, built in hexagonal shape. Architect Fred Lebensold, ARCOP Design. 4 performance spaces: Southam Hall, the Theatre, the Studio and the 4th Stage. Exterior plaza, roof top terrace, banquet hall, mezzanine, salon, lounge, lobby and in-house restaurant, Le Café. The NAC is adjacent to the Rideau Canal and offers views of downtown Ottawa.
